I started reading this book today again after harboring it for ~5 years. Understanding economics and how it relates to my life on a daily basis is mentally refreshing. One of the reasons I started reading this again was because I realize most people have no comprehension whatsoever about basic economics and I enjoy having a “one-up” on the world. Also, I was never taught economics in school. So if you’re interested in learning about the economy and how the country works, on the most basic level, pick up this book.
