Everytime I venture out to do something I’m not used to doing (i.e. hiring people), I stall.
For example, yesterday I posted that I was hiring a videographer on my personal site knowing that I would probably get no response (because none of my Tumblr audience live in Los Angeles). I waited 24 hours to talk myself through it and finally post the ad on Craigslist.
I’m writing this so that I can be aware of the fact that I’m evading reality when I do this, and so that next time it won’t be so difficult.
“Police believe that a 69-year-old woman raped in her apartment building at 155th Street and Riverside Drive was attacked by the same man who raped two other women in Hamilton Heights earlier this month.”
Sadly, I personally know this lady. She has always been extremely nice to me and always made sure to stop and ask how I’m doing whenever we crossed paths. This brought my mood down today, mainly because this incident occured in the building where I grew up (and still have loved ones). Hopefully they catch this lame soon.
Are you an innovative videographer?
Do you want to have fun while you shoot?
Are you at a point in your life where you feel your full potential to exercise the ability you have as a videographer isn’t being realized?
Are you interested in growing with a start-up versus dying with a corporation?
Are you constantly coming up with new techniques to execute your vision as a videographer?
If you’ve answered “yes” to the above, send an e-mail to jobs “at” dateunknown.com.
DO NOT SEND A RESUME OR COVER LETTER. I only want to know about your experience and what you think you can bring to the show. We’re looking to shoot 4-5 times per month. The ideal candidate lives close to Downtown Los Angeles, is a video fanatic, has entreprenurial spirit, and loves the Internet.

At “Nick Alexander Imports” waiting for a shuttle back home. They have two shuttles and neither have returned in the 45 minutes I’ve been waiting.
This system must be fixed.
